Aruna is experienced in providing diagnostic evaluations and treatment to adults and children with a wide range of language based learning difficulties. With the goal of helping individuals achieve their communicative potential, she provides individualized and group-based services.
With adults, Aruna has experience in improving speech production skills to attain favourable communicative outcomes. Her particular interests lie in the assessment and treatment of language and cognitive impairments secondary to stroke, tumours and traumatic brain injury.
With children, Aruna has experience in the management of a wide range of impairments from receptive, expressive and social language needs to using alternative forms of expression (AAC) to achieve communicative and academic success.
